• Graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Sciences
• Commissioned in the U.S, Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Infantry Branch and served 15 years leaving service as a Major. Successfully trained and led hundreds of soldiers to include overseas deployments to Europe, the Far East, and the Caribbean.
• Graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School. He earned numerous awards and certifications including the Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Expert Infantry Badge.
